What happened to the Syndra story?

As some of you may have seen, the Ryze and Brand story was accidentally released about a week early by Riot. Along with this story came another story of similar length which featured Syndra, a story that has not yet been released. I'm just curious where it went, because it is right up there with the best stories Riot has come out with. Ionia lore has been updated and Syndra didn't receive a new bio, so I'm wondering if there wasn't enough time to make a bio even though a long form story was drafted. Will this story be released anytime in the new future? Savvy people can use the old Google to find it but a lore Rioter said Syndra's immense power is taken out of context, I'm guessing the bio contains the context.
