Something wierd about Diana's lore/dialogue.

Ok so I was going through Diana's biography, and while reading I came to this part : "From what Diana could glean from the fragmentary texts, the Lunari spoke of the eternal cycle — night and day, sun and moon — as essential for universal harmony." What intrigued me here was the fact that - in game - Diana says things like "Bring down the Sun" which obviously is against the Lunari beliefs from what I can understand from this quote. Isn't she a Lunari, if so then why does she say that ? What do you think about this? correct me if I'm wrong with anything.

Two main things:

Diana's VO was written in a time where the lore behind her was different. There were greater elements of betrayal and condemnation in the old than in the new, hence why she's got more spite to throw around in game.
We haven't really seen Diana interact with the Lunari beyond getting armaments and the like, and her interactions with the Aspect of the Moon aren't exactly clear cut either. Part of her aggression could be attributed more towards the Aspect, given it was a likely driving force behind her murdering the Solari elders.

Diana in lore was a completely different character from Diana in game.

There was a major lore rewrite of her region and the VO never got updated. Original Diana is a somewhat justifiable ball of hate and rage.

Maybe she's talking more general. The solari have been in power for so long that the balance between the moon and sun was waayyy more towards the sun. So like night and day, it is time for the solari to be wiped out to bring in the next cycle of lunari. This would continue the cycle of night and day, sun and moon while allowing Diana to still continue to "bring down the sun".

Could be interpreted as the sun setting. But the Solari are too fervent in their worship of the sun and she believes that should stop.

Basically her lore was re-written and the old her carries around hate from a better time in lore ;-; I prefer her in game to her in the lore now.
