Hello! I'm Ziracon!♥️

I wasn't quite sure on which board to post this, I chose this one because i saw some similar post on this board, anyways! I have noticed there has been a lot of critisism circling regarding the recently released splashart for Heartseeker Jinx and Yuumi . Jinx is my very favorite character of all time and I've always adored all of her skins, including this one! However, I see the issue. Therefore, I wanted to share with you an edit I made of the Heartseeker Jinx splashart! I felt it lacked that classic jinx aura we all know and love. So here are some small changes I made from an audience point of view in attempt to replicate that spirit!

I wanted to make her look less soft (which is what i think most of us are thrown off by), I did that by pushing her eyebrows down, making her eyes smaller and her mouth wider. I also gave her some dark purple lipstick and nail polish. I gave her adorable hair accessory a purple gradient to replicate her bracers (I think the arm armor is called forgive me if I’m wrong) being two different colors. I also decided to give her two helix piercings. I’ve noticed she rocks ear jewelry in a few of her other skins and wanted to incorporate that to add to the edgy look Jinx has! Not to forget her awesome tattoos! I’m not very skilled in the tattoo department, my apologies hehe ~

I am a long term jinx main and supporter of riot and with that being said, I am in no way shape or for criticizing the artists over at riot games, I am simply handing out some feedback! I adore the design of the skin and was very excited to see it being announced!

(**EDIT: **I forgot to mention I was encouraged by a Player Support employee ~~who really liked the edit~~ to post this on the boards in hopes of the dev team seeing it, she was very nice to talk to!)

I actually prefer the original because it captures a more "pure" joy rather than looking a little sinister, I think it's a nice change of pace. Most of her splash arts have her look slightly deranged (the main excpetion so far being Odyssey, which had an awestruck look that I think works perfectly). I like seeing her different reactions to her chaos; I think it adds layers to her and her feelings.

The edit is really nice and suits her well too, of course! And I'm not a Jinx main myself, though I appreciate her as well.

Jinx without tattoo's? You might as well make a Jinx without any of her weapons. Tattoo's are one of her trademarks and that the original has none is deeply offending to Jinx Mains.

I do like the facial changes you made a lot more than the original. Her face always bothered me when I saw this, something just felt off about it.

Nice edit! The ones I usually see that get posted on the Boards are generally better than the ones that Riot releases (maybe it's because they've decided to spend 3 days on average making each skin this year?).

To correct you, the armor/detached sleeves on her forearm/wrist is called bracers, not braces (just missing the r).

This is a fantastic edit, especially that face makes such a difference. But you got a lot of little details that add up to make a huge difference!

I like this so much. It's such a simple edit but it really makes Jinx ... Jinx! In the original she doesn't even look like Jinx, she looks like someone who is cosplaying her. But the tattoo edit made it look like Jinx in an AU. It's perfect! [sg-lux]

It definitely looks and feels more like Jinx but I feel the direction of the of the original splash was intended to look more innocent and less like "jinx." Strange to say, especially since it uses the base VO.

I prefer the original. I like seeing Jinx in different lights. She’s a character of many sides. That’s part of what makes her crazy.
