My POV for the new lore Part 2

For this part ill do My view on the new updated lore i had previously wanted to say everything but for these to make sense to people who havent read every part of the new lore For this part ill talk about the shadow Isle recapping the lore in my own words and commenting also maybe if i feel like it share my own personal head cannon. First up is now as we see from his champion page he is now from being a creature created from summoning magic gone wrong he is now a creature pf purpose he wants to guard the last spark of life the shadow isle have left but since he is basically fighting every lost soul to exist plus many more brought from the carnage that inadvertantly cause you can see how much of a problem that is and honestly this is why out of the shadow ilse lore up dates he is my favorite its a shame no one talks about his lore it might as well be on the same level as he shows that human greed and messing with nature is a bad idea and that humans need to be more responsible and that its not just us effected by our mistakes Mao Now has a reason to wander and his quest is to one day find a way to bring the blessed isle back to its former glory http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/maokai/#champion-lore Second up is since she is a new champion she doesn't go through too much but i already liked her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_dzZ4NAEGk from what we see from her updated lore states http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/kalista/ She was once a very proud General and niece to a king from an ancient empire her Queen was deathly sick from a poison brought from an assassins blade in the kings desperation he ordered her to find a cure she learned of the blessed Isle she was deemed worthy of reaching.seeing the pureness of her intention the priest of the isle told her to bring the Queen and they would cure her they gave her the words needed to pierce the veil of glamour the isle had in order to return.Coming back only to find the Queen already dead the king Obsessed with the Queen would not relinquish the dead body the king asked what kalista had found. for the first time in her life she broke an oath and refused to tell the king since there was no need to bring a corps to the blessed isle.She was imprisoned by the king until (a knight at the time we will get to that later) convinced her to tell him(that bastard). now on getting to the isle the king in his grief he tried to force the priest to do his bidding Kalista made her last stand as mortal that dreadful day and She asked to join her he walked towards her thinking he would join her side she let her guard down she was then back stabbed by him he then in her last moments she sees him slaughter every single man that took her side.She swore vengeance on that day.Now she has risen as a true agent of vengeance. Reading this story tells a tale of grief loyalty and betrayal honestly 10/10 we now know who Kalista was before death and we can feel sorry for her.i was just speechless when this first came out did not expect them to do such a good job. now for uhh this bastard i despise him almost more then the other shadow isle champions doesnt mean he isnt good that means he is great since he actually makes me feel something http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/hecarim/ was once a proud knight after betraying his fellow knight he leads his grief stricken king to the blessed isle to find a way to bring back his Queen he betrayed kalista for the last time by back stabbing her in her last stand.The magic of the blessed isle brought the Queen back but she was a monstrous husk of what she once was he begged to be put back to death in her pain and torment so the king used a potent magic to kill both him and her and bind them forever in death.This magic spell combined and was made potent by the vast amount of magic and magical artifacts upon the isle amplifying the spell ten fold killing everything on the isle and cursing it was a black fog. Hecarim tries to out run the fog but it catches him fusing him with his trusty horse turning him into an abomination against life and death.He is now a shadow of his former self scared by his own sins. This is by far one of the best lore up dates as it maintains the old character of but it also builds up on it.We no longer have to ask the Question Who is so a lot of pointless mystery just to be mysterious and we get proper character development he isnt just a violent psychopath he is a former knight who betrayed one of his own knights and became a violent psychopath he now has a cause to be who he is.Along with that we get an explanation of what the fog of the shadow isle really is. next is http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/thresh/ He was once part of an order within the blessed isle he watched after cursed artifacts over time the cursed artifacts slowly unleashed the darkness in his heart till he desired to torment all living things when betrayed when every thing was engulfed in the fog of death Thresh was also engulfed while most shrieked in pain and torment he laminated in it he was now free to torment both living and dead then capture their souls for eternal torment.His new lore is ok i kinda liked that he was once a warden but we never even knew if he was that was just a myth or a roomer about him.His character doesnt start off evil but builds up into it and isnt some stereo type cookie cutter warden now but a semi fleshed out character. Second to last is http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/karthus/ In karthus lore we get more details on his childhood plus we see him grow into a man who is obsessed with death i...Hate him...i hate everything he stands for he sees the abomination he has become as something to be forced on everyone and calls it a gift....he had no hope in his life IMO he chooses the easy path and go to un-life.He has become the emissary or clergy man of the shadow isles preaching the glory of undeath and spreading his "gift" like the plague he claims he is helping but he isnt he tries too hard to find meaning in nothingness.I might have liked him if he didnt force his gift on those who beg not for it.Plus he is the natural enemy to my Karthus is still a really great morbid character.He like most of the shadow isles just isnt for me. Finally but not least http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/mordekaiser/#champion-lore A brutal War lord way before the rise of Noxus or Demacia he fought in countless wars until one faithful battle he lay standing impaled with spears swords and arrows yet he still laughed as he died and swore he would come back which he does as a group and necromancers took his burnt remains and brought him back he then rewarded them with unlife turning them all into liches that work for him.He now enslaves those who die by his mace into eternal servitude.No matter how many times he was killed he was always brought back by his liches.of course one day his remains where stolen his liches tried to find his remains but could not for they were hidden with in the blessed isles.Of course till that one faithful day when a mad king in his Quest to revive his Queen corrupted the isles turning into a place only the dead would dare wander the liches like moths to a flame found his remains with in the ruins of the blessed isles (think lord of the rings) where they dug them up and brought mord back instead of his will being swept away by the murderous fog he could enforce his will on it become even more powerful then he already was Now he has his sights on concurring all of Runetera .Love his lore they removed so many mysteries that just made me frustrated.He is such an epic character now if only we got more from but maybe when Yorik gets his rework riot will give him some epic lore and up date both and thats all i have to say for now ill try to write up part three later
