I realize that older VUs only updated the base skin and other skins had to wait for a VU, such as with nid and karma, but karthus has had his VU out for awhile now... why hasnt his splash art on his skins been updated? seems he has been forgotten.
They've taken a break from individual splash updates with several upcoming VGUs having a sizeable amount of skins to do splashes for and he wasn't able to make it in with the group who got their splashes updated individually so [zombie-nunu-bummed] [zombie-nunu-tears] [zombie-nunu-bummed] [zombie-nunu-tears]
They only started doing these skin splash art updates with 
s VGU and since then they've been going back to other older VUs to update their skin splash arts.
However there are several champs who still didn't receive a skin splash art update yet even though they got a VU in the past 
and more.
The reason for this is that with that riot prioritizes the new visual updates more(almost every VGU after Poppys came with new skin splash arts,the sole exception is Aatrox,who was originally planned to only get a GU) and with the increased rate of visual updates that we are getting,the number of skin splash arts they have to update increases as well,which simply means they have less time to go back and update the splash arts of previous visual updates.

Karthus is on the list for skin splash updates but as of right now they are focused on the amount of VGUs that have a lot of splashes to update (Nunu, Akali etc...)
