What if somehow Morgana finds a way how to control void corruption or fuses with the Void in a good way and Kayle and the whole Targon finds that out and Kayle banishes her without a second guess. And that would paint Morgana as the evil one in the eyes of Kayle while in reality she tried to do something good. And that would maaybe spark some evil in Morg after the rejection and banishment from Targon.

Remember when Kaisa was released? remember all those complains about her lore making the Void less threatening? I remember, and what you say would create the same complains and more.
That's along the lines of what I was thinking... except my theory includes the thought that they're both magic users from Demacia that went to Targon like Taric did, then Morg went to the void
