This is how female Armor actually looks like:

Notice something?

No boob armor, no high heels, no exposed cleavage or stomach, no exposed legs, no sills skirts.

Huh, looks just like male armor now, does it?

you see, riot knows perfectly the fact of that being true female armor, but the thing is

this is a fantasy game and your expectations of female armor have no relevance here

that's cool and all. like the designs but...

it's video games. physics need not apply.

All three of these are representations of very poor armor suits. Even ignoring the head and neck being totally exposed, there are a bunch of spots that are not covered by mail or plate, only gambeson. Most importantly in the armpit (2,3), the antecubital space (1,2,3), the upper legs (1,2), and the groin (3). Those spots all have a lot of blood flow and judging by these pictures these people would all be very vulnerable to thrusting attacks or slashes from very sharp weapons in those areas.

This is not what good armor looks like.

Here is an example of what good armor could look like. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b360/sakodasan/Alice%20In%20Wonderland/3760665773_905d0a371f_o-1.jpg

And this is male armor https://sep.yimg.com/ay/yhst-42417777999735/conqueror-muscle-cuirass-2.gif

So to be honest, armor wasn't always optimized for combat.Sometimes it just was designed to look cool. Does that excuse the boob armor you see so often in video games? Not completely,as it is often used for characters/places where it doesn't make sense and far more common than it was in real life. But its not always completely illogical either.

Fantasy. It's a fantasy game. Why does boob plating upset you but calling a giant magic sword from the sky, an enslaved space dragon that creates stars, and a child pyromancer who can summon a demon teddy bear not upset you?

Now if they could just get rid of all the magic in this game, because that's not realistic, either.

Same with the whole "BF Sword" raising MF's damage. A sword? Come on.

And what about Vel'Koz wearing boots? What a joke.

I wish Kayle had this kind of armour instead of boob plate.

i dont get the point of this post. obviously if a female would go into a sword fight, her armor should be FULL BODY COVER steel. but games especially mmorpgs have the logic of the higher lv you are and the more rare the armor is, the less it covers.

nothing new here

Men would wear chain mail over the gambeson because if the person employing you is going to buy you armor, he's not going to skimp on money and leave so much area with just gambeson.

I don't get the one armoured arm schtick that a lot of character have. Looks goofy.

All of this is very interesting, but was there a time women were knights, or wore armor like this? I’m a military history nut, and I never heard of armor made for females.
