Star Guardians: What does Janna and Syndra have against each other?

Looking at Janna's lore:

Janna serves as a mentor to her younger team and gently guides them... While she rarely offers information about her mysterious past...

Now looking at Syndra's lore:

Syndra is a formidable star guardian from an earlier era, whose history is cloaked in shadow. She acts as an advisor on Ahri's team...

Now knowing that they purposefully have signature colors to lane ( Gameplay-wise ) and rank ( Star Guardian wise ), It's not too far off as to say that Syndra and Janna knew each other long before their teams; as well as what they've done to each other.

Syndra is feared and admired, Janna is gentle and quiet.

Exact opposites here.

Also time and time again in the short stories is Janna aggravated from just seeing Syndra. And Syndra feels exactly the same. Knowing Jinx and Ahri constantly say how old Janna is, and how Ahri says on kill that Syndra could never be trusted; We already can tell the beef between the two goes long and brutal.

So, come on Riot.

When the last three ( Ahri's last teammates ) or next pajama party get revealed, we'll be waiting.

We must know what Syndra is doing and what Janna is hiding.

Well with the Anti Star Guardian Syndra skin info leeked, I think she betray them.

What a question. Team Syndra of course. Now, as to what's the thing between these two... I don't know. I must say I'm a bit sad she was left out of the Pajama Guardian's story, albeit I can understand since she's not the Pajama Party kind of girl. I always assumed she'd betray them at some point, but I don't know.

Also, as to the "Anti Star Guardian Syndra" in the leak, I sincerely hope it's fake. Ngl, even though I love the splash, I don't like it in game. It doesn't convey this impression of power (especially the SFX) you have with other Syndra skins (apart from Atlantean, which is in the same case as SG), and I'm not a fan of her model either. I really want a legendary skin on her (or even an ultimate. I mean, come on, there are some nice ideas, imagine her model increasing everytime she maxes a spell or something! Plus it'd give Riot an opportunity to give her another VO... But anyway, a fool can dream right?), but I don't want it wasted on SG universe. I want something that makes us feel how powerful she is, with strong VFXs and SFXs. Anyways that's not the point of the topic haha

I think Syndra is an ends justifies means kinda gal and that disgusts Janna because she seems the most pacifist out all the Star Guardians except maybe Soraka, but I think Syndra knows that Janna deep down knows she may be right and that denouncement can be seen as hypocritical on Janna's part. That's my theory anyways, so go Team Syndra

Going off the lore we have for the two of them and making some educated guesses. I think Syndra and Janna were once on an older team of guardians before any of the other current ones came along, and that Syndra killed them and took their powers. Ahri wields three broken gemstone that she believes are all that is left from her teammates dying in battle. I think however, that Syndra killed them and took their power for herself. As to why Janna doesn't say anything about it... that could be anyone's guess right now. Maybe Syndra has a threat holding over Janna. Or maybe Janna has seen what she can do and knows that telling people would just put them in front of Syndra's onslaught.
