Malphite 10 Year Anniversary Splash Art.

I understand that Riot is probably hiring kids from K-3rd grade for their new art program, but Malphite's Splash art is a new kind of special. Why is this type of art work allowed in a game that employs professional artists that went to college, got a degree, made a portfolio, and put together a resume, applied to Riot, and got the job?

After being told this was Fan art, I rescind my previous last sentence. I still can't tolerate this bad artwork even if its fan made, so I still stand by my opinion and don't like it. Want to try again?

All the anniversary splash arts are fan made, no one in Riot did that. I bet that you cant draw something better.

I miss when simplistic, cartoony artwork was more appreciated. But fuck artists for being individuals who have their own unique art styles, am I right?

OP I do not think understand. I really cant grasp how thickskulled you're being on this post. if you notice how all of your posts have downvotes I think you may start to understand the logic behind our rather sedimentary friend malphites splash. Its satire. which is ok because there are other new splashes that are also less serious. Its funny, its cute. firstly the entry's didnt need to be "professional grade work" and no one is being " robbed of their job". its a fan art which already makes it so that it does not need to stand to a standard that matches "world class game" level. Do not misunderstand; League is certainly worthy of that title. But your criticism is overt, pretentious, and taken from a viewpoint of inserting yourself as a high and mighty pseudo creator of league who would not dare let their "honor" be tarnished. kindly slip off your own finger sir/ma'am.

Like it, don’t like it, Riot regularly celebrates the memes that are born from their community. So for their 10th anniversary, in the midst of the sick Jax anniversary splash art, they’ll toss in some sillier ones. I laughed because of it, many other people have laughed at it, and it isn’t meant to be taken seriously. It’s just a splash art, it isn’t as if malphite in game is a triangle.

Obviously you’re entitled to your own opinion, but I think you’re taking a joke too seriously. Lighten up
