Sion In The New Lore

So. The new Noxus lore came out. And it's fantastic.

However, there's a bit of a plot hole that needs to be resolved. Originally, Sion was resurrected by the Black Rose and Swain together; they were allies at that point in time, and Swain and LeBlanc both used Sion for their own goals. However, he had free will, and was just fighting for Noxus.

You see the issue here. Swain and the Black Rose are no longer allied. So who raised Sion from the dead? There are a few possibilities:

A) Swain's newfound demon power allowed him to raise Sion and use him to his own ends. B) Vladimir did some blood stuffs. This would mean the Black Rose created him, if I am correct (I think Vladimir's a member of the Black Rose, anyway). C) LeBlanc used ancient magic from Mordekaiser's reign, probably similar to the same spell that rez'd Mordekaiser every time he died. D) Something else, possibly reasonable, possibly completely out of left field.

Another question: Who is Sion loyal to? The Black Rose? The Trifarix? Neither, but to Noxus alone (like Kled)?

If I could get a clarification on this, that'd be fantastic.

No Sion was resurrected by the black rose under the rule of Boram Darkwill.

Swain merely reprogrammed Sion with the help of Vladimir(and at this point it is not confirmed if Vlad really is a member of the black rose).

Also it is very likely that the faceless in the Trifarix is actually Leblanc,so it is possible that she actually aided Swain in the reprogramming of Sion in exchange for this position.

I might need to re-read the LU but I think it's tweaked Sion's lore around too

The way its written I got the impression pre-death Sion wouldn't be Boram's Hand of Noxus anymore. Because this update implies that Darkwill never had the power to extend his mortal life- although he tried to. If so that would mean Sion lived long before the last emperor's reign.

However it still could have been Boram's idea to bring Sion back.

To be honest, I think Sion's lore is largely unchanged. In the "old lore," Sion was resurrected by the Black Rose, but when Swain learned about Sion and decided to tell LeBlanc about what he's found, you can tell that he's unaware of the Black Rose's involvement and LeBlanc feigns ignorance.

In the new lore and old, Swain and the Black Rose are allies who don't trust each other, know that the other doesn't trust them, and are always trying to outmaneuver the other.

Anyway, GreenLore is prob right.
