The Watcher from the Ryze short

I kinda got surprised how they both were there in the same time... And the Watcher tried to get into him mind not just to kill him....And I got the idea...what if the Watcher were waiting in front of the Rune for some fool to get baited so they can take over his mind and...Free them.. Or work on their freeing since they don't know what was Lissandra cooking for the last 29487284 years ...I don't know it really feels weird how Ryze and the Watcher came in the exact same moment.. And I know it was said on the map that they wanted that Rune but still..From what I understood is that It tried to get into his mind...Or that is their way of attack or something ¿

I have no opinion because I thought that was Vel'Koz when I watched it.

That was a Voidborn, something similar to Vel'koz, as to why they were there at the same time, mightve been a coincidence. The Voidborn might've been attracted to the power and intended to take it, but Ryze appeared, so mightve seen Ryze as a threat/thief so tried to destroy him (I saw that attack as more of an attack than simple mind reading.) so that it could claim the Rune as its own/for later use for the real Watchers.

Sorta like how Vel'coz disintegrates people (rewatch his Vel''s trailer)
