New game intro&outro
This post is going to be a total scroll buster. Sorry for that.
I have been a huge fan of Leagues since season 3 and got couple ideas that might better off.
I love the unique story of every champion and Riot probably worked its' ass off to develop such a fantastic story line.
But I feel like summoner's are not directly linked to the stories like Riot intended. (Riot inserted 5 summoners in hoods in almost all big trailers)
So I am throwing couple ideas that might induce summoners to directly engage so feel free to agree, criticize and imagine.
- Intro Has anybody who plays Leagues on daily basis have not seen a single Leagues trailer?
I highly doubt it. Riot does an awesome job at portraying champs and atmosphere through sketch.(go to my link at 36:52,
the Braum trailer). If you go to this link, you will see Braum trailer in drawing.
WHAT IF...as soon as the game starts, instead of looking at percentages of every single player and zoning out, we
see a short story drawn in a brown paper in pencils or pen I don't care which.
The basic line of this idea is somewhat like this. (Riot can adjust this to its' own taste. There can be multiple stories).
Ex) Narration: Demacia and Noxus have always been venomous to each other.
(If your team has J4) Jarvan IV: Today we conquer! Drawn graphics of him preaching to his fully armed soldiers while standing on a stage (This short phrase will work on any other champs) and the story goes on.
We watch the story until all loadings are over. Then, we simply click "To the Victory" button. (this button can say
anything ex) Tonight I hunt!)
The game will not start unless all 10 players click it. But for some cases like one player fucks the rest 9, there
simply will be a time ticking for how long....? 10 sec? (Story does not have to finish)
After 10 sec, the game begins auto, leaving the one afk. (aft check)
When all 10 clicks, the screen dissolves to white with special effects and the game begins.
This way, summoners won't rage from the beginning because they don't know who is cooking from toaster and
make summoners' feel like they are really into the game. (royal players)
- Outro > As soon as the Nexus breaks, instead of clicking and masturbating to the Victory sign, the whole scene
becomes drawn figure like in Braum's trailer. Riot can do so many things here. Game highlights as drawing or little
thank you voiceovers of the champ or an apology or to keep it simple, see ya message or throw other stories or
new champion leak. And the game ends with punch/break Riot Games sign.
This animations can be something that other alike games don't have. Rather than keeping leagues another win
and lose game, this animation will make summoners' to think 'so that's how the battle went'; like a third person
point of view. Animation will make Leagues go beyond genre of game and really connect them to the game and
really love their most champs.
Thank you for reading my imagination but nothing is impossible.
