Twisted fate skin color issue
Twisted Fate's skin looks white in the splash art but in-game it's close to darker skin tone

This comes down to lighting
Other champs are darker too (Karma, for one). I don't think it really matters that much. There are bound to be differences between the splashes and in game models. Just interpret his race how you wish.
TF is actually of lighter skin tone. Not that big of a difference that you couldnt say that he got a tan along the way.
