"Reav3" claimed that there is a new juggernaut coming out who thrives in the midst of battle. Personally I adore this style of play where you are just front lining all the while dealing damage. Aside from the dev updates would there be any way to keep updated on this new champion prior to him/her coming out?

Yeah not really. Only ways to learn more are the dev updates and actual releases. Everything else they tend to keep pretty quiet on till it is time.
Don't know but I want to know..... its a shame they only give updates later into production and super early on, taking feedback would be way better
You can be an internal tester, someone who gets invited to Riot HQ to test new content before its released on PBE, but you have to live in LA and be in good standing in order to get invited though. However, they do make exceptions for notable people in the community, like how they flew Malicious Metal in from whatever country he lives in so he could playtest new Morde, ect.
Probably won't be another roadmap for him before he comes out, but the good news is we can probably expect him in later spring 2020 so it's not that long a wait.
