We don't need a league movie, we need story shorts

Ok Riot. I understand the whole "movies are hard but we're trying", and honestly, I love the lore as is. But one day as I was in my thinking place that definitely wasn't the shower, I thought of the best solution. Story Shorts. Little 20 minute shorts, whether they be live action or animated like the current cinematics y'all have. But use these to just play out the lore of a character. In lux's story when she meets galio, let me see galio lifting her in his hand 200 feet into the air. Let me see braum as he saved the little troll child from the mountain. These shorts are just what you have on paper, but instead on the screen. Plus it pleases both audiences. The people get their "movies", and Riot gets ez boosts in Lee sin figurines cause who wouldn't want one after seeing his kick a** backstory. This comes from a person who's been playing league since 2014, and reading the lore ever since. I don't want an hour and a half movie of some random thing y'all came up with (even though it would be awesome). I want some shorts that really make me rethink the way league of legends does it's lore.

All I want is the story of how MonkeyKing and Ahri know each other. Wukong needs more then pranks and MasterYi in his life and Ahri... honestly could REALLY use a friend after all that crap she went through... those feels man. [zombie-nunu-tears]

Also a side note I'd really like to know more about that garden Ahri went to, seems like a weird thing and I really have this feeling that Zyra is involved with that place in some way. Could be a neat rivalry for them if that turned out to be the case.

Morning Tea

The lonely swordsman trudges into view, hair bobbing with the drift of the grass on the horizon as the sun rises behind him. Under his arm is a bundle of herbs and berries, expertly cut from their plants.

The cave ahead is dim but for the light flickering inside. A small, lumpy shadow lies almost motionless across the glow. The swordsman’s sandals crunch as he crosses the entrance and turns.

The stoneweaver’s eyes open, and she glances up at the swordsman, who smiles first at the pot of boiling water and then at his charge. The weaver sits up and leans on her hands as one of his own comes down and softly ruffles her hair.

The swordsman drops the herbs and berries into the pot and sits across from the stoneweaver, who lies down again and smiles, pulling her blanket to her nose. The swordsman smiles, too, resting his blade against the wall.

Ballroom Blitzcrank

Light glanced off the shining metal of the robot girl, who leapt and pirouetted across the floor as onlookers gasped and clapped at each new trick. She smiled and bowed to the crowd, yet her gaze lingered on one.

He was stocky and yellow and released a barking laugh when she motioned for him to come closer. He extended his huge arms and motioned for her to do the same. The girl laughed.

Suddenly she was flying across the room! With a screech, she was tossed into the air and caught again, understanding only as she landed that the golem had pulled her over. Seeing he meant no harm, the robot girl laughed again.

With a small dip, she tucked her head under his fist and spun under it, going faster as he raised his arm. The golem laughed too, happier this time, and the robot girl smiled.

EDIT: It's also worth noting one of the Co-owners of Riot asked if they should make an MMO with the world they have. Not exactly relevant, but I think it's a good idea that is worth mentioning.

I want both. Short stories are great for those "we want to do it but it's not worth an hour" ideas. I also think that a lot of them do give enough material for a full movie.

A movie also allows them to create new interesting characters for the story. Shorter episode like animations should use already existing characters, since they don't need any further character development before getting to the point.
