Yorick's Maiden Doesn't GAF!!!

This is just a thought I had when reading posts about people complaining about Yorick's ultimate and how he can't really control it directly. It's true, she'll to basically whatever she wants, E will direct her to a new target usually but after the champs are dead she's going to AFK push a lane until she dies. But that's her lore.

Maiden: "You retreat like a coward!" Yorick: "I will return anon"

So of COURSE The Maiden is gonna stay in lane, because she thinks retreating is for ninnies. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Yeah it does irk me that she does that. I wish she would at least follow you when you simply go to another lane cause then you're not necessarily retreating. The other thing that gets to me is that she goes away when Yorick dies, while Tibbers stays when Annie dies.

This is actually a really great way to explain mechanical difficulty through lore - the Maiden of the Mists is the embodiment of the Shadow Isle's curse, and its only goal is to consume; Yorick has only tenuous control over the entity, and can only call it into physical being, and channel its hunger towards powerful souls (ie, Champions, Greater Monsters, Epic Monsters).

Elsewise, the Maiden simply meanders down the nearest path and consumes whatever comes its way.
