Can we get voice updates instead of all these VFX updates?
I mean, a lot of champs still make mention of Summoners. It can't be that hard to cut those lines out instead of these rampant VFX updates. I mean, they did it for Lux.

It is, I'm not sure you understand the amount of work that goes into working on voice overs

I would like to see some more voice lines for Jax tbh
They did it for Lux because they were doing her Ultimate skin at the time. So it gave them the opportunity to update her old VO.
A lot of work goes into VO however, and it's significantly bigger than the VFXs updates that various champs have been getting.
VO they need their writers, translators, ect across all regions to work on scripts, while they have to either cast a new Voice Actor or get a hold of the current one (for each region), record, edit, ect. So it'd be a lot more time that goes into that than how they take existing content and give it a visual pass that will be the same across the world.
Plus on top of those things they go through internal testing and feedback, and if it's too conflicting they won't ship it. Which is what happened to the MF VO that was being done alongside her Gun Goddess skin.

so for those that dont know - some voice actors/actresses/actri have died since the creation of league of legends. also, some have refused to work on projects unless they are paid higher wages and given better working conditions. among other things.
it's actually extremely hard to update voice effects. sometimes when it comes to updating a voice it's all-together better to just remake the character because we tie the characters voice to the character AND sometimes, when the voice overpowers the look of the character, if you change the characters voice it ruins the character.
think how uncomfortable it is listening to an artist you have listened to for year and then listen to it with a new lyricist. here are some examples of music artists that have had to swap out their lead vocalists.
