Pantheon needs more attention ( Please read :3 )

Alright so. There are plenty of champions that have been indeed forgotten from League of Legends. One of them is of course Pantheon. People look at me weird when i say that i main Pantheon or that i like even playing him mid lane cuz he is really strong. Pantheon is a great champion and a really interesting one. But most of all he is indeed one of the champions that made me feel really connected with this game. And i have to admit that i feel sad that Pantheon doesn't get any attention at all. He has such a good lore , such many things that could be added to the lore and so many potential cinematic videos that could be made for him. League has many cinematic videos and that's no secret. But i have never seen Pantheon in any of them. Even tho Pantheon is indeed one of the most iconic champions in this game. I mean only by the name you can make such an interesting story out of it. Pan = Above in Ancient Greek and Theon = Gods . So basically his own name states that he is above gods , meaning something more powerful. There are so many things that can be created out of it. And so many nice stories that can be told as of the origins of this champion. How he came to be and what his purpose of protecting the path for the mountain is. We don't know a lot about the champion and he is indeed pretty left behind. There are champions that drag a lot of attention cuz they are in the meta and then there's Pantheon. A champion that is not in the meta, a champion with great potential to become something that everyone would recognize and someone who made me and many other players feel connected with the game. For gods sake plz do not rework him XD Some skins would be nice. But mostly a cinematic or an update to the lore , a comic something! I'm sure that i'm not the only one who can make 2013012320210 stories for that guy. Btw just to clarify this is not a hate on riot post or something. I just wanted to bring this to the attention to some people so that maybe riot would see this and idk maybe if the people give it some credit. To indeed make something special for Pantheon. Please Riot , i beg of you.. Give Pantheon a chance to shine :( <3 Pantheon [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I understand that you like the character but... lets be honest: His lore is not really that interesting in comparison with other characters, specially the other Aspects of Targon who share the same core story, but with something extra that Pantheon doesnt have. Aside from that, his visuals are not really that creative... he is bacisally a typical Spartan Soldier and his name is simply a reference to the Roman Pantheon. The "powers" that he have are also...unimaginative ... he hits people with his spear and shield.. the most impressive skill that he has is his ult and that is it.

I mean, he is so generic, that you could pick a random fight scene from 300 and say that is a cinematic of Pantheon.

You lost me when you said he had good lore.

But more seriously. Pantheon is on the schedule for a rework eventually (probably next year but no guarantees). They will likely not release official lore with him as a main presence until after that point. Since his art will likely be redesigned to show he’s not just a Spartan. He’s a body hopping space parasite with magic powers.

Patience and you’ll get what you want.

Honestly, Riot needs to address the Teemo vs. Pantheon Lane. Teemo's Q makes pantheons Q Miss...which is really his only poke, teemo also out ranges him and out maneuvers him. It's the most disgusting lane I've ever witnessed.

As a Garen/Pantheon main, and as someone who really REALLY wants a VGU for him, even I have to disagree; He is not “one of the most iconic champions in the game”.

Hate to be that guy but I'm pretty sure the prefix Pan means all. So his name is all gods not above god.

Which I hope they can add to his lore where Taric, Leona, Diana, and Zoe get the power from one Aspec, Atreus get it from mutiples Aspects.

He could be like the CaptainMarvel/Shazam of Runeterra.
