Theory Time - Is Nunu going to be a Yordle?

So as we saw with the map - and as I see people lamenting - Bandle City was left distressingly vague and not all that well developed. They also state that random occurrence can open pathways to Bandle City, not all of which are things you can control, such as the low tide on a beach opening a hole to the city...

Then there's Nunu. He's really close now to being revealed, as his VGU is coming after Akali's. At current, he's a Freljordian child who befriended a Yeti. But what if he's not a human child anymore? What if instead, he's a resident of Bandle City, who accidentally wandered into the cold wilderness through a portal and was saved by a yeti. Or what if a lone yeti accidently passed through a portal to Bandle City, and Nunu calmed him and forged a friendship, and now they adventure across the snows together?

Either way, Nunu's VGU is a soon-to-occur event for the game, and given that there's a very distinct lack of Bandle City information, and not even an icon for the city yet, it is a very real possibility that Nunu may be our first, modern time Freljordian Yordle (I know Gnar exists, but he's ancient and time displaced). But can you imagine if Nunu is a child Yordle? How flipping cute would that be?

I sincerely hope Nunu remains a human child. Changing him into a yordle when there’s no presedence or conjecture to draw upon (other than him being small) kinda makes that unlikely imo. His theme is a boy and his friend... just so happens the friend is a huge yeti lol. There’s a chance he’s a descendant if an ice born, personally I’d prefer that aspect. Removes some of the wonder of an unseeming child befriending a powerful force of nature, but it doesn’t throw it straight out the door as being a yordle kinda does do.

Nunu is our best hope at seeing what life in the Freljord is like, also we already are dealing with why Yetis are even significant in anyway, like I feel there is more interesting story telling to be had if Nunu is left as a child and we learn more about Willump and ultimately what his bond with Nunu really means, how powerful is it to be even worth mentioning in the lore of League.

It was also placed REALLY close to the Freljord, almost in the south of the region entirely.

The portal to Bandle city spawns at a random location every time you open the map.
