Telltale games is shutting down. The people there were let off without warning, leaving all these talented people without a job. Blizzard, Twitch, DICE, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Paradox and many other games studios have taken notice and offered to take these people in. Not only is this good from a moral perspective, but a business one too. These people have shown they are incredibly skilled in writing stories and making textures. So it has amazed me that Riot hasn't taken advantage of this, especially with the controversies. If anyone knows how to tell an engaging story, it's Telltale.

Perhaps. But I don't think it's fully the case of Riot not hiring anyone, it's that these talented people from Telltale Games wouldn't probably want to work for Riot due to the reputation, as specially after the whole PAX situation crisis.

I had the wish to work for Riot as a potential artist in the future but over the years I seen parts of Riot that can seem careless and disrespectful and I changed my mind.

Though I am quite surprised with the shutdown of Telltale Games as I didn't knew anything about that until I came across this post. I thought that they were doing so well... I really hope that the rest of those talented people find a great job that they deserve.

The company went bankrupt due to the higher up's stupid decisions. As in, they would rush games out in a month and do quantity > quality. They had 2 fantastic games that were good because time and effort were put into them.

I haven't played a Telltale game before, so excuse my ignorance, but are they really that good at storytelling that Riot should just go hire them?
