So I read Kai'sa's story

And honestly, I like it. But there is one major problem I have with it.

She doesn't really look monstrous.

At this point, I don't even care about her face looking fine. But the rest of her form just doesn't look monstrous at all. Honestly I just wish she had spike shooters in her arm as a homage to Omen, the void ADC that was never released. Instead of shooting void energy.

She doesn't really look monstrous.

That's because she wasn't actually in the void. She lived in the caves that lead into it, but never actually was in there.

And the only reason she survived was because for some reason the Void creature she initially encountered (that she got insanely lucky to have killed) bonded with her instead of destroying her

When I read her color story and background, I understood why she felt boring.

It's because she's normal.

I repeat. She's normal. She had no truly redeeming qualities or personality traits about herself before the fissure happened. Everything else that occurred, despite how scary it was, is more or less a kid lost in the jungle.

Because she was 8-10, the Void, or at least an entry point around her, wasn't mind breaking for her. She was mentally able to adapt purely from being exposed to its existence at a young age. Her quiet behavior is from her being around "predators". It wouldn't make sense to get super loud and be spotted. When she does get loud, it's usually when she's in the middle of a kill. At which point, stealth is over.

Her personality now makes sense.
