More Badass designed supports

How does creating more darker themed supports in the future sound like? Or at least more badass ones

Support champions generally seem like nice ppl, they are light hearted designed champions and that basically make most of the champions in the support role.

But then u have Pyke who is an assasin? And a support? When he first got revealed I was like whoa riot really did good on this guy’s design. So what if we had more support champions with pyke’s vibe?

I mean hell just because a champion is a support doesn’t mean that they can look badass right?

Pyke has a dark theme for a support, but he's definitely not the only bad guy support.

Morgana Nautilus TahmKench Thresh and if you count them as supports Brand Zyra

I’d like more dark themed supports in the future, but only sparingly, since it’d sorta only be special and cool if theres contrast in the release cadence between light and dark supports

To be fair, they have done a kinda good job with the latest supports released...the problem is that so few supports have been released compared to the other roles that it looks like there are few badass supports

Going back in time the last supports released from 2013 onwars were

Thresh ( not properly a true support, but has seen used as one Velkoz ) Braum Bard TahmKench ( I don't know if he counts, as he is a support but played in the jungle Ivern ) Rakan Pyke

Except for Bard, all the other proper supports released are badass in their own way (even Tahm is debatable about) Thresh is a dark Grim Reaper type of character, Braum has that badass daddy charm to it, Rakan is a flamboyant narcisist young man, Pyke is a ripper, and even if it is totally weird, Tahm is still a freaking river demon monster

The problem is 6 characters out of 32 released since 2013 (8 if you are really generous and count Vel'Koz and Ivern in), with 4 (or 5) badass ones in a class that is

  1. relatively small if we count only proper supports (excluding the Vel'Koz, Nautilus, Veigar, Lux, Brand and such)
  2. Full of non character non perceived as badasses either visually or because of perceived personalities (I mean, I'm sure Morgana, Karma, Bard, Taric are badasses with their power, but that's not what people immediately think of them)
