New Lee Skin slower animations

Anyone else notice the New lee skin animations are significantly slower then say the traditional lee skin? From aa's to skill animations. I know the devs were trying to make it so it looked like he would have God like power before each aa or skill "q,e,r", but as a result I've noticed a significant animation lag due to this. Thoughts?
