League Attraction - An Online Romance novel meeting through league. (Young Adult Romance, Gaming)
**Winter - Chapter 1 **
Laying on my bed with my laptop, as I patiently waited for my new teammate to give me a message through the League chatbox. That last matched I decided to be paired up with him, in solo ranked duo. He was a random on my friend list and the only one online since I didn't want to be alone. It gets boring that way and I just felt like I would be dominating since I wanted a good rank before the end of the dam season. They recently created a voice chat on LOL(League Of Legends) finally. Somehow I saw a person on a list of online people if you wanted to invite someone. You can usually get those when your other friends played with different people, and then they would randomly appear online so the game would give you the one suggestion if you wanted to invite them to play with you.
(Prosecutor 27) I'm back.
He didn't type much considering a lot of people like to talk garbage at each other. I was really shocked that he was Challengers Tier as well since he carried me through the entire game. His score was 47/1/32 and to be honest I wasn't that good, I was only in Platinum Tier last season and unranked this season. They usually give you 10 games to complete in Ranked before placing you where you would belong in the system. I just made sure I didn't die, and at least had 25 or more kills and assists with him so I didn't look like a disappointment towards him. For some reason he added me after the game and asked to play more Ranked with me.
(Dr.Winter 21) Welcome back.
(Prosecutor 27) Thanks did you want to talk in voice chat so we can strategize better for bot lane? I thought you could use some work with support roles better if you play with me bot.
Of course everyone wanted to teach you on fucking league. He could have asked to give some tips or did you want my input, idea, or suggestion? And who said I wanted to play with him bot lane again? I actually did want to play bot with him again even if my main was a jungler, but I don't really trust people online so I didn't want to talk to him. Considering the fact that I never talked online. I was one of those online gamers that didn't really rage or talk during games. I do get excited or laugh at things that happened but I mostly kept silent listening to my Korean station through Pandora.
(Dr.Winter 21) I don't like talking online so no thanks.. I'll listen though if you wanted to talk to me.
(Prosecutor 27) That's fine with me.
I read the last message as I grabbed my headset and entered the voice chat. I made sure to mute myself and after a minute he joined.
_(P27) "Hello. Nice to meet you. I'm Prosecutor 27." _ Man, I was hoping for a real name but not gonna lie his voice was a medium deep and very natural like he was talking to me as he knew me.
(Dr.W21) Hi.
I typed to him while he talked to me about what champions I should pick if I went with him bot lane. And what runes and masteries paired off better for different champions I played. He also told me about how to use which combos with him in team fights or give me suggestions on what we could accomplish together. It honestly felt like a job and he was my boss giving me tasks to complete. For some reason I assumed he had green eyes.. His voice really attracted me when he explained everything smoothly. Winter this, Winter that, don't forget Winter, even if it's my game name, but it was actually my real name and him saying it made me blush. We finally finished picking our champions and went to the loading screen. I then decided that I wanted to talk to him so I unmute myself on voice chat. He sorta turned me on and even though others didn't when I heard guys talking to other people online or to me directly when I was muted, No one ever attracted me except for him so I took a huge breath and let myself talk for the first time on a game to anyone.
