I don't know exactly about the sideboob (I know people will ask this), but he said that she uses more revealing clothes than the current one, specially if you compare the current splash art to the new one. NAKED Akali Confirmed!!! jk.

They don’t fit her identity as a ninja. She needs a dark, full suit with enough roominess to hide in the shadows and move quietly. Like you said of Caitlyn, champions should look like they do what their lore says. Ever since releasing Taliyah, you committed not to make future female champions “Syndra, but in a different cosplay,” when referring to conventional attractiveness and skimpy clothes. That should apply to reworks, too, and Irelia came out alright.

Please, give her a ninja suit.

Historically, women ninja, or Kunoichi, would often times use their sexuality as a weapon to gain information or lure targets into false security.

Granted, real ninja, particularly the women ones, didn't really do much actual fighting, but this is a fantasy game where everyone has to fight, so a spy character doesn't make much sense.

I get what're you saying, but come on dude, not every female champion design is about attracting the male fan base into the game, it also shows that this charcter is sure and confidant in herself. This is shown in the best way in Akali, which knows she's strong, fast, capable of great feats and also quite attractive. Her current champ design shows it, and so will her next design. If you would argue that she needs more clothing then before since she has matured more as a person and now didn't like those kind of clothes or that she should wear this suit since she ranked up in the Kinkou Order, and therefore needs to wear the formal clothes, I'd agree, but the simple argument of "she needs a Ninja suit since she's a Ninja" doesn't work. I mean, look at Shen, he's the headmaster of the order, wears the actual Ninja clothes and is somehow a tank. Yeah, that's matching all right.

i would argue that thematic clothing for a ninja lady would require tight fitting streamlined garbs.

i tend to think of the dead or alive ninja gaiden girls when i think of female ninjas. or the ones from samurai warriors.

I'm sure we all can talk about Akali's visual from a leak, which hasn't even been confirmed. And even if it is true - we still haven't seen her visual yet. So why even make this post if there is nothing to discuss yet?

Except less clothes = more mobility. Yes please. Also, there's nothing wrong with hot chicks dressing sexy, who wants to play someone ugly or so covered up you can't even see their curves. No thanks. I'm a chick and I'd rather play a sexy champ than a non-sexy champ.

female ninja actually commonly wore revealing clothes in an attempt to distract male enemies. so her wearing revealing clothes in historically accurate, and holds true to her common character.
