Why no Yordles?

Not including Gnar, since he's essentially a caveman and is a yordle in name alone, it's been a whopping 7 years since a new Yordle was released. (From Bandle City) I'm just confused as to why. They're small and cute. The size of their faces allows for more expressive animation. They lend themselves well to skin themes that would be a little too silly for other champions (like Beemo).

I think there should at least be one more yordle added, a jungler so we can make a full team out of them without doing the sub-par Poppy jungle.

A yordle assassin would fit well. The twist could be that rather than using the glamour effect, this yordle intentionally reveals its true form to everyone, which actually makes it easier to hide since it then doesn't appear as a human twice its actual size. It could have an origin similar to Veigar's or be part of Teemo's elite squad.

I'd prefer it be male, simply because the only male yordle we have with a modern design that isn't oddly small because he doesn't have a mount is Heimerdinger, who looks more like a silly Einstein toy than a yordle. So it'd be nice to have a fuzzy boy with animations on par with Tristana and Poppy's reworks.

I'll probably write up an actual story and kit for the idea soon, maybe even draw out the character. We'll see how it goes.
