[Disclaimer: I know that there's ALOT going on with Sion with the new strategy people are using. However, this is a post on the Champion himself & serves as a thank you from us to the development team.]

It was on today, October 9th, Sion's 2014 Visual & Gameplay update was launched here on NA. Since then, Sion's had a few ups & downs, but he's definitely become a far better champion than he was previously. He went from being a weird Fighter/Mage hybrid to as Phreak put it, "A Stubborn Tanky Colossus". His theme as an Undead Noxian Warrior was also fleshed out even further, he went from an undead warrior with a Double-Edged Axe (RIP to Chopper, never forget) to this Unforgiving Behemoth who has no Mercy or contempt for the weak.

Currently, Sion is my current main (202,000 MP, MLV7) & honestly my all-time favorite champion in League of Legends. I feel as though Sion became extremely versatile after his Rework. Previously, he was known to be an AP Midlaner & an AD Top & Jungler. Post Rework, I've seen Sion played in every role on the map (Including Botlane ADC). He can function as an incredibly Tanky Champion with some really good engage/CC & I've seen him function pretty well as a Full AP Mage or a Full AD Fighter.

I just wanted to thank RIOT Scruffy & his team for working on Sion's Rework, hopefully we see more reworks like his in the future.

He'd be even better when Narrative get to modernizing his Biography and fixing his now broken Colour Story

Hopefully that's scheduled for sometime very soon.

Sion was the very first champ I bought. My favorite strategy was to essentially int in lane and try to kill them with my passive. It didn't work. Fond Memories! [sg-jinx]

Sion is the only champ I can play competently against other people, so I've gotta say I appreciate him too.

old sion was my first main. i was hyped for his rework but they changed so much about him, so i ended up never using him again. his old ult was my favorite thing ever.........i miss those days so much. yea his old ult is kind of in his passive now , but its not the same. i hate it how riot just deletes old champs when they do full reworks instead of making a new champion altogether. here's a list of champs i mained/ played a lot that riot removed from the game for no reason other than being ugly Sion , Warwick (on-hit build will be missed), Galio (his W and R will be missed), Swain (everything in his kit will be missed). before u say the old champs had unhealthy kits, i would rather fight them then everyone today who has dashes, true dmg, and my personal favorite........ executes. so darn you riot for removing champs that people loved.

I appreciate the Sion feed strategy but I might have to stop doing it in Silver since they can't wrap their head around it LOL. Oh well, I'll wait til mid gold. I've only had 2 teams that were "with the program" and the game went by smoothly even though almost every lane lost in one of them. The other 2 games my team was basically raging all game and refused to cooperate with me. I told them not to group on me and let me take turrets because if I get an assist or kill then I'll be worth money again, but they grouped on me which basically means we lose the teamfights even if I fight because I'm useless for anything except pushing at that point. Strategy only works if 4 people pushing / taking objectives while sion shoves otherwise it's a guaranteed loss. Oh well, I love this champ that lets me do such a cheesy strategy.
