A good summary of Pyke's ingame model and what he could be

I recently found this on youtube, and beside the fact Riot changed the mask (which all of us appreciate) they really left a kind of big gap between his teaser/splashart and ingame model creepy-wise.

If you do not want to watch the video, youtuber Necrit really get into an objective criticism about Pykes model in comparison to other champs.

Things he mentions are:

his posture
his eyes
his skin color
color sheme (especially compared to Ekko)

I just noticed we posted the same video.

I'll add my comments:

I think he's right in that the in-game model looks like a pirate themed thug/thief, as opposed to an undead boogeyman.

His skin tone and eye shape could be changed slightly and that would be about all you need to fix it.

They have already addressed the mask, and it seems to be a good middle ground between the two, looking less cartoony.

I do think he's right about the pose conveying a different attitude and character than what people came to expect from the teaser art. It's more of a thug scrapper pose ready for a brawl as opposed to a creepy boogeyman who is staring you down thinking about how he's going to get you.

Tbh the second half of the thumbnail reminds me of bowser jr. With his bandana.
