The wait until the release of "Bloodlines" is making me wonder...
What exactly is Riot waiting for? Usually when you have a serial release of content it makes sense to have tiny breaks between releases, so you can be sure that most of your audience has read/seen everything and it fully up-to-date. However, wait to long and people tend to forget details and stuff... and since we have been waiting for quite some time since the lore-release of Rammus and Tal, I'm kinda wondering what they are waiting for.
Possibility One: the Weekend. Maybe people online, higher chance of social media attention overflowing once content gets released. But tbh league never had an advertisement or visibility problem, considering the size of the game. There are always enough people to spread the word that something awesome is going on, so I doubt that's what they are waiting for.
Possibility Two: The New PBE cycle that starts on tuesday. Of course it would sound weird to assume they are going to release a new champion right after the patch Tal came out. Or... does it? Shuriman champions have the tendency to come right out of nowhere. We just had Gnar and only the next patch later Azir was like "SHURIMA! NOW!" and crushed into the PBE with possibliy a trillion bugs. Or, it might not be a new release but a (small scale) rework. Nasus and Renekton are both rather old-school champions in terms of their kits, and Sivir was pretty much ignored during the Marksman-Roster-Changes and could use a visual update as well.
As the event is called Bloodlines it might be dealing with champions that are related, so both Nasus/Renektion and Azir/Sivir could be relevant. And, maybe something happens to one of them in the event, requiring some visual - or even gameplay related - changes? The (possibly unintentional) ascension of Sivir might be a thing, ya know? A not very likely one, but considering the possibilities it might be a thing. Like, stand in the wrong place at the wrong time when the sun disk discharges and you have no clue what's going to happen.
Possibility Three: nothing, Riot just plans their schedules by throwing darts at a calender. Looking back at the last 5 years that I know them... yeah, might be totally possible.
