True Damage: Akali

K/DA Akali is the same person as True Damage Akali. From the video description:

Virtual hip-hop group True Damage was born when K/DA’s lead rapper Akali sought to bring together the distinct talents of Ekko, Senna, Qiyana, and Yasuo in an ambitious, genre-defying collaboration.

Forget about that, Akali doesn't even deserve a skin.

{quoted}Why is she in this skin line? She already has a musical skin. Also her being in True Damage invalidates her KDA skin. Its odd.

1. She's extremely popular as a non-main-universe character.
2. True damage is mostly a virtual group, canonically, and those groups are often composed of artists from other groups, so it makes sense in the world.

Her skins sell really well. In the span of a year, she's getting 4 skins if you count the prestige edition. I think she was the best selling of KDA too, even more than Ahri and Kai'sa.

I think riot just wanted to bring back Soyeon since people liked her verse in popstars. It doesn't really make since for the actual AU though, considering K/DA was a k-pop themed skin line so it gave the impression that Akali, Eve, Ahri and Kai'sa were in a group.
