Did Ezreal Find Heart of Gold?

I need another old player to refresh my memory. I know for a fact Ezreal was the one who found Wriggle's Lantern, so I'm confused why they chose for him to go and grab HoG with Pulsefire's new recall.

Was HoG also one of his expedition finds?
