Serious question, I was always under the impression that he was sort of a dark god who fed off of the emotions of war. So I was wondering if Aatrox would defend against the call for the destruction of the humans of runeterra by his kin, sort of like a farmer defends his cattle.
Is aatrox the hero we need?
In the old lore, i think that he would. But only using his current short lore as reference, i would say that all the darkins want to kill the Humans...
HOWEVER, dont mistake Runeterra from Humans, All the Darkins want to destroy the humans as far as i know... but nothing is said about the rest of the Races from Runeterra, like Trolls, Yordles or Vastaya... Considering that, he might protect the trolls from other darkins or something like that.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the only reason why he decides to inspire and fight with the losing side is so the war never ends and in consequence the bloodshed never ends? If the losing side starts winning then he will go to the previous winning side and inspire them. I don’t think he fights for the weak because of its the right thing to do but because more bloodshed and death makes him more powerful I guess. If the whole humans die I think he will like that very much lol.
As the "honorable" Darkin, I don't think he would defend the humans from the other Darkin, but I do think he would spare worthy warriors (like he did with Tryndamere) rather than going full omnicidal maniac.
Right now we have no idea in which direction the narrative wanna go with Aatrox. His update is soon and we will see that WAAARGHbobo has in store for us.
