Can Draven use his axes as melee weapons?

Does he only throw them because it's his style of combat split off from the Noxian military? Makes me wonder if Draven was kicked out of the military because he had a tendency for snatching axes off his fellow soldiers and then chucking them at his enemies, just to look flashy.

They have little wheel things in the handles, and they'd hang low if he tried to use them as a real axe. They're too flimsy to use as effective close-quarter weapons.

They're throwing axes, so not the best for straight up melee combat. Also, Draven is a show executioner, he's not exactly the one in the middle of a war zone

they're designed to spin, so I could see him trying to use some sort of spinny melee combat style, but it would be a little weird

Can Draven use his axes as melee weapons?

Probably, but what kind of glory would that get? :D It's too bland and non-flashy for Draaaaaaaaaaaven.

They are melee weapons, Draven just thinks they're empty.
