Is Pulsfire Ezreal going to get an update or a price reduction? Because it's really showing its age

I was thinking about it, and I realized that there are two reasons I would consider buying Pulsfire Ezreal:

  • It's a sci-fi skin
  • There's a certain "I'm cool" factor that comes with Ultimate skins

The reasons to not buy it:

  • The skin quality is questionable by todays standards
  • The skin price is still extremely high
  • I know that owning an Ultimate skin would in no way, shape, or form make me cooler

I'm sure I'm not the only person in this situation. At what point does an Ultimate skin fall so far behind it has to be either remade or reduced in label?

A legendary skin completely changes the look and feel of a champion. Features: new model, new texture, new splash image, new animations, new visuals, new voice over and sounds. Examples: Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath, Brolaf.

vs

An ultimate skin is a complete reimagining of a champion that includes an evolved model and additional features and bonuses (e.g., summoner icons). Features: new model that evolves into different forms, new textures, new splash image, new animations, new visual, new voice over and sounds, additional/bonus content.

So "model that evolves into different forms" and "additional/bonus content" are the only differences between Legendary and Ultimate. Additional/Bonus content could be removed for new purchases (good bye summoner icon, and no one looked at the banner anyway).

Is an evolving model that is of lesser quality than recent Legendary skins really worth the 1430 RP difference?
