Removing 2016 from champ riven

So with all the championship skins there was never any numbers included in the names and no numbers in skins in general, for the return of championship riven i think yes it was a good idea to give something extra to whoever had it from season 2 but in my opinion and a ton of my friends agreed that the 2016 ruins the name of championship riven as if we now try to have a full championship team comp. and the comp gets ruined because of the 2016 in the name. And yes give the OG people something extra but please just leave the name the same because championship riven (2016) isn't the same as championship riven and it does ruin the name a ton, so i feel it would be best to remove 2016 from the name even tho it returned in 2016 i still feel like the name should be the same no matter what.

This skin (Championship Riven from season 2) is one of the rarest in the game and certainly the most desired skin. They needed to make sure it was perfectly clear that the person did not own the original skin they bought it hte second time around. The only reason it's not like this for other years is because the other years don't have nearly as much rarity to them.

Agree, its weird seeing Championship Riven with the 2016 in her name. Why not just make it so the old one only had the special frame to indicate the difference.
