I feel like there needs to be a lower price for old school Legendary skins like Gentleman Chogath which are clearly not worth 1850 compared to the modern Legendaries that are the same price

Unlikely to happen. Champions like Chogath and Corki , which have underwhelming legendary skins, are tier 1 for a VGU in the future.

So all their skins will get reworked and updated, so their lacking legendary skins hit the requirements for that tier. So there is no need to change that stuff yet, if they get reworked fairly soon anyway.

I thought Gentleman Cho'Gath was the first bona fide Legendary, while the fake ones like Firefighter Tristana got removed from the store.

Gentleman Cho still my favorite skin to this day. Special effects don't bring soul to the skin.
