Where is Volibear?

Now I know he is pretty much retcon but I feel like he is missing something. New one is BADASS and I like it but he doesn't feel like Volibear.

Where is that shaman that saw a great evil coming and decide to become a warrior.

Where is the guys who worried about his people so he approach his estranged brother for assistance.

Honestly I want to see one of those word wall riot use to uses when they rework chamions.

I'm speaking for myself (and this might come off harsh) but I say fuck it, I endorse more radical revisions. Fuck the old lore, it did near on nothing with the character of Volibear for years and years. I see no loss in the departure of something that was never developed from its conception, so might as well explore new opportunities in a fresh take.

However, I know that the majority of this community are really (i would describe it as) anal when it comes to significant departures from the old presentation of outdated champions. This community can be very toxic/upset even with minor revision to a character's nature. So I'm not surprised that some are a little curious or concerned by how this Volibear is presented differently.

I mean, I like how the Volibear is turning out. He was kinda dull in the old lore, and at least now we have a good reason for him being kinda fackin' strong.

It's still in there.

Udyr, upon seeing Volibear, says that he might once have been a man that became a living avatar of the bear spirit.

Though this is only my personal speculation, the man that would become Volibear might once have been a shaman that saw a great evil coming (probably the Watchers), and to stop it, he chose to become an avatar of the bear spirit.
