Irelia Special Interactions and Full voice over

I gotta be honest, while i understand the brutality behind the Ionian War i still didn't expect Irelia to be so.... bitter about everyone and everything.

I don't get the interactions with Karma.

Karma is all about fighting for your ideals and defending your home. She saw the way of her elders and decided that she couldn't just sit idle. She went against what she was taught and went to war against noxus.

So why does Irelia taunt Karmas ideals and her teachings, when Karmas teachings are to fight for your ideals, home and freedom? Just like Irelia does.

Zelos? O-ma? Ohn? Kye? Little ruu...?

I know zelos was her brother but the rest?

EDIT: Also it seems Riot pushes out rather many amount of extremists lately. Irelia is now yet another whatever purpose filled extremist who's either questionably opinionated or just flat out looking to go to war on almost anything (literally or figuratively such as being highly dismissive of anything that's not them). At least have some variation would be nice. It really doesn't hurt to have actually mentally healthy champ.

Wait can someone please explain the lore to me in such a way as to make me understand why she's giving such salt to Karma???? I thought they would be united!!!

Really disappointed with the updated frostblade skin. My main dislikes with it is her new hair (both the style and color of it), the shape of her blades and the fact that they slapped so much "fur" on her outfit, which in my opinion looks really bad in LoL. Really feels like what was my favourite skin for her got ruined.

If any Rioter sees this (and hopefully other people will leave some feedback as well) I hope it will incentivize them to go back and make the skin look a bit closer to how frostblade is on live.

Overall the VO is great but to me Irelia is coming off as, to no better way for me to explain, a bit of a bitch.

I mean, OK you can make the argument that the war has hardened her mind and attitude but she really doesn't have anything positive to say most of the time in her interactions, not even with allies and Swain even had that.

A few things that did catch my ear was her rallying quotes, Karma, & Riven. It's just a bit ironic that both the Swain rework and now Irelia have quotes to rally the team.

I'm interested to know more about the relation between Irelia and Karma now since she comes off more hostile towards her. I wasn't that deep into their old lore but I got the idea that they worked together but now I'm interested if this turns more into military counter-strike vs. Gandi peaceful talks between the two.

As for Riven, it's actually interesting to see Irelia offer a chance for Riven to redeem herself if she sides with her and turns against Noxus. I mean, she already deserted, but it's also an interesting concept of if she's ready or willing to now turn against those that trained and fought along side with. I honestly thought Irelia would just make another standard threat but this really got me interested (even if Riven is a no good deserter of Noxus).

So strange that she has no lines for Sona... I was really expecting at least something for her.

Riot hasn't stated she isn't Ionian born anymore, so I was expecting Irelia to possibly mention something about that.

Then seeing that she has lines about music or dancing toward Bard and Orianna, I was almost sure she'd have a line for Sona, but no...

No Sona or Soraka quote? Tbh, I expected her response number to rival the ones of Swain.This felt really lackluster a bit.Maybe I just had too high expectations
