Does Sion's old relations remain?

I think the new Sion is amazing and his story is very engaging. The art is fantastic too. I was just wondering if Katarina still plays a part in his story like she used to. Also, what is his relationship with Urgot really? I don't think it has ever been elaborated upon officially.
