Kai'sa armor... really?

was it really necessary for kai'sa a fucking void survivor to be showing so much skin? like i get the skintight suit but when the helmet comes off she also uncovers pretty much all of her weak spots not to mention her chest. like holy shit i know this is a game and it has to sell but would it kill rito to take one in the gut once in a while and make a real survivor stereotype? not " oh look at me i survived 15 years in the void by killing and merging with void creatures till they formed a second skin but im still capable of keeping my eyebrows threaded hair conditioned and skin completely intact! "

a survivor of the most inhospitable places on earth foregoes everything but the most basic needs. but nah let the one survivor of the god damned void have a couture shoppe fall in with her so she can keep herself pretty right? lol

no survivor would keep her hair long like hers. or have a helmet that would literally leave her chest exposed for something to pierce it. the mask would barely uncover the full face at the very least.

not even gonna bother with the skintight suit.

inb4 the nerd defense force comes over to tell me that her its void armor and not needed to be thick or some other bs lol.

Kai'Sa has only 1 skin so far its called Bullet Angel Kai'Sa, but i guess she will also be higher priority for skins than other champions since she follows that pretty looking style

Yeah, Kai'sa's design is a bit lacking, in my opinion. It feels like they were trying to have their cake and eat it too. Like they couldn't decide whether or not she was supposed to be someone turning into a void creature from the ground up, or if she's wearing a suit. Now, clearly, the design looks like she's just wearing some sort of form-fitting lizardskin leather. Which isn't particularly effective armor, nor is it particularly scary looking despite accounts of people being terrified of her for some reason.

Now, it's supposed to be Voidborn skin, obviously. So let's say it is good armor, but even there as you point out, the design isn't effective armor. You don't expose your chest cavity if you're trying to have effective armor.

Now having some sort of actual skin contamination that stops at around the shoulders could have worked to give a reason why she's designed as she is. But we're told that's not what's happening. So she's left with something that doesn't look like armor despite being told it is and doesn't look scary despite again being told it is.

Who knows, maybe that skin is harder than it looks, if she wears it is for a reason....Not saying her design is Jhin level of cool but her attire match her place...

She was never in the void,just in a cave filled with voidmonsters. And considering that she is already a legend among shurimans,she likely got out of that cave years ago.

Though I agree that her overall design is rather generic.
