I wish they would give Veigar a VU and voice update. His model is just so ugly that It makes me not want to play him, but I like his character and lore .

Tries to spook the peasants by causing some errant lightning strikes only to end up having his entire grand act ignored and being accused of having caused the milk to spoil and some old cow/go lame, even as he tries to stand up for himself he gets pushed up to a wall by the superstitious farmers x)
Then he tries to spook them by telling them how he defeated some local sorcerer only for it to turn out that said sorcerer was actually terrorizing the village and the peasants realizing that decide to just let him do whatever he wants, especially defeating more local mages xD
Poor veig, he did his best to put up a magnificent scenario but everything just went wrong [sg-miss-fortune]
I wholeheartedly approve of Veigar's exceptional vocabulary and dedication to theatrics. Performance is what uplifts a common thug to immaculate villainy.

He is simply shocked they would even consider him responsible for their petty misfortunes when a villain of his caliber cannot waste time with such trivial afflictions.

I started reading the new lore. Saw "Great Darkin War" and immediately just did a mental "oh no." Read through the entirety of it and... It's far better than I expected. I was worried they were changing what already worked about the character. But no, they only changed superficial details like where he was imprisoned and how old he is. It's still very much the same Veigar, with an amusing twist on his aptitude for evil.
I think his logic is "If I need to be the most evil person around, I have to beat these evil people to prove I'm more evil."
Why doesn’t Veigar just shoot them with his magic?
