So petricite officially absorbs magic.

So why doesnt Galio (who eats magic) not heal off damage taken like his old kit even though it fits more thematically.

I made multiple posts as to why he should have a heal in terms of:

Thematic Being truer to previous version of Galio Helping with balance I even gave examples to the math as to why it would work.

Why would Darius Axe spins and Fuora poking with a sword get healing but Galio doesnt when he EATS damage/magic/etc...

Because he uses the magic that he absorbs to move at all.

Its like fuel for a car,he can stay more active thanks to all the magic he absorbs,but it won't heal him.

If you're going for it from a lore standpoint, though, Galio should only be able to absorb magic damage rather than any kind of damage. After all, petricite can't absorb being punched in the face.

That's partially why I figure a Grey Health mechanic (that 'eats' magic damage) would be a nice replacement for his W's current magic shield passive, if you want something that's on-theme and lets Galio eat magic.

Well you should see a major plot twist in that sentence, Powerful enough magic is only barely affected by petricite.. Guess Demacia is back in trouble with the mages now :/
