Did Vlad learn blood magic from the Darkin?

In Varus' lore they brought blood magic to runtera. So is Vlad related to them in anyway?

We don't know. Vlad's lore remains to be updated.

Humans either learned or stole the power of blood magic from the Darkin before, during, or after the Darkin War.

Vlad was probably one of the mages who inherited that knowledge, using it to prolong his life, and has been an important political figure in Noxus since the time when the empire first started to rise.

I think it's possible Vlad has a feint tie to the Darkin because of the connection of Blood Magic. It's my theory that it was Vlad who warranted the expedition to unearth Rhaast

Vlad's lore hasn't been updated yet, however I'm fairly certain that the Noxus lore update said that they were doing experimentation with the blood magic, of which Vladimir is the result.
