Obviously buddhism is a human thing but is there any religion in Runeterra that acknowledges the endless cycle of life/the great dao?

Most religions on Runeterra seem to believe in reincarnation. The religious leader of Ionia, Karma, is reincarnated every time they die. The faith of Nagakabouros practiced by the Buhru features reincarnation as well. The Buhru have cultural ties to the Mount Targon, Ixtal, and the Helia (who are kinda dead). Shurima was influenced by Mount Targon and Ixtal, so they are caught in that cultural web too. Since the Buhru believe in reincarnation, it's likely that all of the mentioned cultures have similar beliefs.

They're all basically polytheistic in Runeterra.

Reincarnation is not just Buddhism. For example, the current setting of Karma is reminiscent of the Tibetan Buddhist Dalai Lama, but Hinduism has a little similar elements (Kumari).

Nasus "The cycle of life and death continues. We will live, they will die."

One champion I can think of, Karthus. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Illaoi's religion is basically Buddhism upside down and backwards.

Does that count?

Karma... of course. But Nasus seems to recognize it as well.

Reviving necro- threads which already had their time to shine is against Universal Rules and as such I will be locking this thread to make sure it lands at the bottom of the howling abyss. I would strongly encourage looking at how old a thread is before commenting on it.
