I loved this Lux comic but why J4 has turned into an horrible character ?

The story was nice :

: A deep character with a millions of questions in her head, fighting for the injustice. She finally found her place in Demacia. She was very interestin to follow.

: I didn't liked him at the start but after this last comic, when he hugged his sister, Garen have made me cry. He loves his sister and want to protect her. He is a good grandbrother. "My sister is mage and she is a demacian !" is probably the most powerful sentence in the story when you know Garen character as someone who is blinded by Demacia values. He changed because he wants to make justice and he finally understood justice is the same for everyone and it's not because you are a mage, that you are evil.

: He was funny for sure. I loved his quotes, his attitude. Of course he was supposed to be evil but he did it in a good way. He was sarcastic, funny and he has made the show. By the way, he wasn't that evil. I mean he suffered a lot and he wanted to help people like him by destroying monarchy because after all, it's all J3 fault if he was locked in prison. What more "normal" than asking for revenge on people who ruined your life ?

Sylas was great. I'm happy that he is still alive. He is an interesting character. A little bit Evil with a nice story (we understand why he is evil) and sarcastic personnality. I think i can't hate him, he is so great.

: I don't know what you did with him but he was dissapointing.

First, he was mostly "useless", he gets his ass rekt easy by Sylas. Humiliated... Ok he loses his father so he is the new king.

And what do he does after Sylas escaped ? Make Demacia worse than it's was before and even catch childrens in the street. At this point, he has become a Tyran. Even Sylas wouldn't have do anything bad to kids.

J4 did not have any interesting story before this comic. He had one story shared with and it's was okay but the story was like "you could do better with him".

Now he is a king and that mean he is supposed to have responsabilities and take goods decisions and the comic show us that is not prepared for it. J4 could have been a powerful character with still a good mind even tought his father died. It's would have shown his powerful side and his ability to govern because when you are king, you aren't supposed to let your emotions take control on your actions.

But no, he seems weak. First he was weak in fighting and then, he is also weak inside. He is too much affected by his father dead and he let's his emotions take control of him instead of acting like the sovereign of a country.

Lux is powerful inside of her, she is mentally strong. She fighted Sylas with a crossbow and with a dagger. She was a warrior. It's take a lot of courage to fight your enemy without your magic when you rely on it. She was ready to die for the crown. Garen has a powerful spirit and he is a great warrior. Sylas also have a powerful spirit and was close to defeat Garen. Jarvan 4 was weak on the both side : Mentally and Physically.

By the way, i'm asking how his relation with will evolve since he had become a tyran, i'm not sure he will still see her as a friend.

Otherwise, i'm still surprised we didn't saw Shyvana, Xin zhao or even Sona/Vayne ? Maybe Fiora too.

But i loved this comic. It's was great except J4 character who was dissapointing.
