for me, its absolutely no question. i told my brother when i saw her teaser that i didnt care if her entire kit was nothing but different taunts and jokes, i was gonna get her so dang fast. shes tons of fun, probably made entirely out of bubble gum, whoopie cushions, and puppies, and definitely the silliest personality of all the champions. i love her because shes refreshingly lighthearted and careless and goofy in the League of Edginess.

we all have those champions that we love just because of their personality, and i was wondering what yalls favorites were and why

He knows exactly what he likes and dislikes, wants and does not want, and I love it. He's matter of fact and only shows a passing interest in anything outside of his sphere of likes. He just wants to do what he came here to do and be left alone.

As a top lane main that resonates with me.

Love him. Also love playing Xayah just so I can hear him yell "DANGER ZONE!" and the scared Assist Me pings! Thresh Just a well-created character overall. Sadistic and a look to fit. Taliyah Serious but unserious. Great personality. Ziggs Did I mention I like crazy? I like crazy. Jinx Also crazy but hers gets older quicker for some reason. Lulu Also crazy... but in a different way. She's fun to play, lighthearted, and I often hear myself quoting her "VROOM-VROOM" when I play. AurelionSol Sassdragon. Full of some sick burns. Poppy Cutest yordle and anyone who disagrees can fite me. Braum I mean... c'mon... <3 Braum is love.

So many new champions. Jhin, Kled, Kayn, Taliyah, Aurelion Sol, Zoe, Xayah, Rakan, Ornn, even Rhaast, they all have really distinctive and fun personalities.

I feel like part of the reason why Kai'Sa had a backlash is because she's much more grounded in personality and not as... well... fun.

If this is just personality alone, then: Braum Poppy Taliyah Zoe Jax Zac Garen Nasus Leona (Please note some of these might be based more on their lore rather than in game VO & vice versa)

Braum - He's a nice guy willing to help anyone out & put smiles on people's faces. He's also a very confident person. Just a big old Dad to the rest of the roster. Poppy - A determined, strong who has a strong sense of duty. Though, she can be quite dense sometimes. Taliyah - An optimistic young mage overcoming the fears of her own power & cares deeply for her family. She's a diligent student & caring individual. She's also is a bit quirky sometimes. Overall, she's just a big old cinnamon roll. Zoe - Happy-go-Lucky girl without a care in the world. She's fun & very quirky. Jax - Have you heard his VO? End of Story. Okay, but seriously: A badass warrior on the Rift. But unlike other Badasses who are edgy or super serious, he's still a pretty chill dude. He's just as likely to have a few drinks with you as he is to bash your skull in with a lamp. Despite his chill demeanor, he's still working hard to fulfill a goal (as recent lore updates suggested). Zac - A superhero. A fun, lighthearted & goofy superhero like character on the Rift. He's also a very human character thanks to being raised by wonderful parents (who were both killed off for no reason. If there is a reason, it's likely a stupid reason & I chose to ignore it). Garen - Okay, this is more based on his lore rather than in game. A strong & loyal soldier who cares deeply for his people & kingdom. I also like how he's deeply conflicted over the situation with his sister. It would be interesting to see what he choose to do once he find out about Lux.....though it be more like accepting the truth. I also like how in lore, he's not a hair brained idiot who just runs in yelling "DEMACIA!!!!" like the community tends to portray him. He can be calm, subtle & respectful of his opponents (as seen in the color story with the old hag). Nasus - An intelligent man who cared deeply for his little brother & his empire. When he lost both, I could feel his deep remorse & regret. That likely messed up his mind a bit while wondering the Shuriman Desert for centuries. He also had a thing for learning about other cultures & spreading said knowledge around. Leona - A very kind & protecting warrior who values defending people rather than senselessly killing others. A very maternal person. Also even though she's a warrior who walks around in armor with a heavy ass shield & sword, she still very much a woman. She acknowledge her feminine side with her joke about breaking a nail.

But I absolutely disagree with Zoe. Like, really? You like silly, goofy personalities, we have a ton of that that are less annoying than Zoe. Lulu, Braum for instance.

Sona - I love her! I love her! I love her! I cannot stop loving her, she is an absolute joy to see on my screen. Seeing more people play Sona just makes me smile. She's quiet yes, but I love what little Voicelines she has. DJ Sona was the real kicker, gifted to me by my best friend who just asked a simple question "If you would want any skin, what would it be?" and a day later, BAM! Ultimate skin! Sure she's doesn't have alot going for her personality wise. But based on her animations, she seems gentle, kind, and just one of those people who you can just relax with and not give a care in the world.

Warwick - "Oooh, you think you escaped because you flashed and ghosted, under tower. But here I am Level 6, Ultimate off cooldown. Just stand still! AND YOUR MINE!". Oh my god Warwick. He's everything I wanted in a werewolf. Lose yourself, lose sanity! You are the monster! The blood that spills will be claimed, FEAST! PREY! DEVOUR THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN RUN! You cannot run! You cannot hide! I will find you and I will feast upon your flesh! I basically just want to kill everything, is that wrong?

Swain -He has a mothersquawking theme song. That's it. Okay no, I got Tyrant Swain skin and OMG is it the most badass thing I've seen! That recall! That ultimate bird OH MY GOD! 540 RP well spent my dudes (MY SHOP I LIKE YOU!). Seriously, if you love Swain. Get Tyrant Swain, it's a treat to behold because it's probably my favorite skin on a mid lane champion. (Or not cause I'm a pleb who should've cared for Dragon Master Swain.) Swain is amazing because of his animations. What I love in tanky characters or battlemages, is how much they can give less of a shit about your damage. Sion, Mordekaiser, Yorick, and Swain have these walking animations that's basically intimidating to look at and you can just feel the weight of their power in their hands when their weapon basically moves in motion of their footsteps (or in this case Swain hiding his hand behind his cloak before revealing it's true power).

Graves - I love Shotguns. They are my favorite type of guns. I don't care what game I'm playing, is there someone with a shotgun? Let me play em! It's why I play Reaper in Overwatch, or Vigil, Doc, Rook, or Lord Tachanka with Shotguns. They are powerful, and require some direct confrontation. That's why when there's someone with a Shotgun and they are basically tankier than normal. I love em even more. Graves is one of those guys I do so bad with, yet his gameplay is enjoyable enough that I don't care. I'm going to practice him a lot more just because I like his character so much. Also his cigar was like my first league meme I learned about.

Braum - As a Support main. There's no one else better to play. Braum is the best Support character personality wise. He is the kindest and most humble and honest guy you can ever meet. Combine that with the fact he has some of the best defensive and counter engage abilities in the game and you got a champion that makes me smile because I just got his Santa Braum skin for only 640 RP! (MY SHOP I LOVE YOU!). I love Braum in general, such a great guy.

Jhin As a support main, you gotta do alot to appeal to the complete opposite role to me. Somehow Jhin pulled it off. His voicelines, his personality, and his skins. All so good! I suck ass at ADC for the record, yet when I play Jhin. I feel that revolver's power! It pulses through my fingers as each right click sends his arm flying backwards and seeing the direct power of that fourth shot. The power of that last bullet and it hits the low health champion. The health bar shatters as Jhin's arm flew back from the immense power of the gun. As the corpse becomes a flower ready to bloom and damage my enemies further. Jhin's personality reminds me of those Psychotic guys you want to hate, but you can't hate em because of how they interact with others. Hannibal Lector actually isn't a bad comparison here.

Rakan I just want to fly high and be a flamboyant support! Rakan is a fast guy and tends to chat a lot, and make light of things. That resonates with me because that's how I am. I just talk, and talk, and make silly, bad jokes to make my friends laugh. I don't take things seriously because that's just a burden I don't want to deal with. I love fun and fun is good! Video games are fun and when Rakan came on the free to play rotation, he was an instant favorite just because of how much he reminds me of me. He doesn't care too much about whats happening, he just cares about his girlfriend Xayah and what he likes to do. If it's fun he wants to join, if it's not then he will want to make it fun. Rakan personality wise is what made me fell in love with Support all over again.

Jhin. I identify way too much with him for it to be considered okay_(but it is)_. I'm an artist that strives for perfection in everything I do. When I draw, everything has to be right. When I write poetry, it had to be perfectly centered to the page. When I play the piano, every note has to be played perfectly and the song has to sound exactly as it should. This is actually quite crippling, as I really can't do anything without getting frustrated. Jhin himself is a mixture of fun, unsettling, and insane. You can tell he likes what he's doing, and every kill feels satisfying. He takes his time to make sure everything is perfect. I like to take my time, so there's no better choice.

On an observing them in the context of a story level, it's by far Jinx for me. She's a very entertaining kind of unhinged. If I had to pick sy to hang out with though, it would definitely be Braum , the dude is the personification of good without arrogance.

She has that hard and edgy exterior, but sometimes she says things like "I wanna buy all the things!" in such a delightful tone. My girlfriend is similar in the way that she's shy, but really funny and cheerful when she lets you in. It's really endearing and heartwarming and kinda sexy. Iunno
He's just a hardened bad ass and a smart (maybe even somewhat inspirational) guy.

Honorable mentions Jhin Mostly his voice acting. It's the best. Also we share a love of art, except that he is more psycho-murdery and stuff. AurelionSol So condescending. I found myself quoting him when roasting friends. It's delightful. Twitch "I demand a SANDWICH!"
