Bloodstone Taric is still not bloodstone. Let's give it a "ruby" chroma.

This is still absolutely inexcusable. And I don't mean just because he's the gem champion. The other reason it's inexcusable is because his VGU happened after Lissandra's introduction. Why is that relevant? Because Lissandra's on-release skin was also Bloodstone.

The thing is, hers is the right color. His, despite his entire kit being focused around gems, remained wrong even after his VGU.

Here's what bloodstone looks like:

The reason it's called bloodstone is because the red looks like blood splatter compared to the greenish-gray.

Taric's skin, on the other hand, completely ignores this in favor of incorrectly calling ruby/spinel "bloodstone." Perhaps because fixing the skin would've required they actually put a red glow instead of lazily leaving his abilities with the blue glow that basically ruins the skin. But by incorrectly using ruby, they felt they had enough red.

I know this seems like something meaningless, but for the prior Gem Knight to have the wrong gem on a skin named for a gem, it's disgraceful.

It might be too much to ask that they fix the skin, but I do think a chroma is in order. They could even double-down on the incorrect naming and make the one that actually has bloodstone the "ruby" skin, making the gem correct but the clothes red.

riot doesn't care, there are other skins which are inaccruate/bad/falsely advertised and they don't care

Quite a long time ago, there was also someone who made a post about this and I must say i agree. Tho with no Taric VGU in sight it is going to be quite hard and probably too "minor" for Riot to update it.

To be honest I always thought it was a reference to diablo's soulstone

starting in diablo 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGRGxt2-7rc

and again in diablo act 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uejocHoJO2Q

I never put deeo thought into it but it totally made sense to me because taric was the gem night and if he used devil gems that's what he'd look like
