Ionia is Asia During 19-20 centuries?

I feel like the lore of Ionia is sorta like Asia During the 19th and 20th centuries, since some of the lore kinda corresponds to what Asia was like around this period, mostly WW2. First, the part where Ionia was neutral in most wars. During the 19th century, Asian countries stayed neutral during outside wars, but when China was defeated by foreign powers, Japan got shocked and started to militarize. Also, I should mention how Ionia was isolationist, so was Japan, until the Japanese got threatened with invasion by European powers. Also, I feel like the story with Zed and Kayn is similar to Hirohito and Tojo. Zed symbolizes Hirohito, the emperor of Japan in ww2, as one of his goals was to arm Japan and other Asian Puppet countries to kick out European powers and to form "Greater East Asia Prosperity Sphere". There was also Tojo, who is symbolized as Kayn. Both Tojo and Kayn were starting to have more power than Hirohito/Kayn.

Idk this is just my theory, im a ww2 Fanatic so I usually make things corroborate into ww2 somehow. Correct me if im wrong on any of these. This post was not meant to be hurtful to anyone in any way, I just did this for fun.
