Will Riot ever go back and improve on older skins for champions who have already been VGU'd?

Despite getting VGU's or work at some point some skins are basically still chroma's sold as a separate skins. When you look at how crimson Akali evolved into badass Infernal Akali its a real punch to the gut that these skins might not have a chance of getting a similar treatment.

Sherwood Ashe (Ashe already received a VGU but this is still for all purposes green chroma ashe) Mercenary Katarina (Katarina also recieved a visual update in the past along with multiple gameplay since then. Merc Kat is still just green hair Kat though) Snowbunny and leopard Nidalee (Nidalee default chroma's) Vizier and Shadow Prince Malzahar (Malz default chroma's Runeborn and Battlecast Xerath (which color Ascendant you want?) Siren Cass is pretty much just blue Cass

I know it probably wouldnt be very profitable to do this esp considering how old and cheap the skins are but I really feel like it should happen someday or as a side project for the skins team.
