{Theory Pyke} Kalista, betrayal, and maybe Miss Fortune?

Hints:

  • So based on the Trailer, its pretty obvious he was devoured by a deep sea Leviathan.

  • He has many ropes around him and the trailer, including one around his waist moments before being eaten, and many around the creature's jaw. Bildgewater is know for interacting with these beasts to kill them, or summon them to fight the mist.

  • Hes a Ghost, and is out for vengance Kalista against a Crew of people (would make sense, youd have to be on a boat to get eaten by a Leviathan of that size), he operates on a "Bloodharbor", probably one of the harbors used to slaughter leviathans.

  • Most of Gankplank's crew is dead.

So based on these hints, Im guessing he was either used as bait somehow (he has a cut rope around his waist as he is sucked into the Leviathan's Jaw), and someone cut the rope. This might possibly be because of a hunt gone wrong. Bildgewater is know for hunting, killing and exploting the sea's many creatures, but some are out of any ship's league. My guess is they hauled something bigger than they could chew (would explain the ropes tide around the beast's jaw and body, sudgesting it was being hunted )), perhaps one crew, or several **collaborating **to bring a big creature down. **Except they misscalculated ** its size and ferocity, and decided to used Pyke to save themselves.

My first guess is he wasent part of Gankplank's crew, as his list would be pretty small after burning tides. This leaves either a new captain, Miss Fortune, or multiple captains as the potential culprids for his death, along with whoever was on board. He is called the **BloodHarbor **Ripper, so my guess is he operates of a place called Bloodharbor, probably a place where they slaughter a lot of Leviathans/creatures, which would make sense to my theory as his targets would be there given their occupation as Leviathan Hunters. The first name on his list is not the first one to get scratched, infact, it never gets scratched in the trailer, so perhaps that is the captain, if it were Gankplank, who is thought dead, it should be crossed off perhaps, unless ghosts can magically know who is alive and not.

Finally, he is a ghost, so he may have made a pact moments before Death with Kalista . This would also make sense from a gameplay standpoint, he is an aggresive playmaking support, Kalista is an Aggresive ADC with a throw-my-support-at-the-enemies-face Ultimate. If they are connected, it would make sense from a lore/gameplay standpoint for them to interact in botlane (Riot also probably wants to use Kalista's ultimate for more than "save my ally's skin" rather than "Go seek your vengance" as the thematic is suppose to be).

I doubt that he has made a pact with Kalista.

From what we know Kalista absorbs the souls of the people that make a pact with her, hence why Kalista speaks of herself as "we". However Pyke is clearly going around on his own,so he was obvously not absorbed by Kalista. If anything I could imagine that he tried to make a pact with Kalista, but was rejected by her because of his twisted sense of vengeance(as he sees all of Bilgewater as guilty,so his revenge is misguided and unjust)

Nice theory! I also wrote a theory connecting MF and GP, but instead I though Pyke may be on GP's crew. Who knows?

I think he has nothing to do with Kalista
